The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Australasia represents breeders of true to type Irish style soft coated wheaten terriers throughout Australia and New Zealand. All breeders identified on the site commit to furthering the breed through the sensible use of healthy dogs to promote and further the breed for the generations to come.

Australia has had a rocky time with wheatens over the past 25 or so years with health issues surfacing in some quarters. Responsible breeders have moved to those Irish lines which have a documented history of clear health.
